Im still cleaning up this Cordia, but it starts everytime now no issues except balance shafts, im so close to purchasing a house so, Im just going to wait till I have it in there and do the balance shaft removal kit properly and get it ready for club rego

I also bought a W203 wagon C200K, and a 03 VW touareg for a new daily, as my daily BMW is a 94 and can be used on club reg (might just fit a LS1 into it also, summer car only)

Nice, you like your Euro cars.

I've never removed balance shafts but a lot of people did.

Where do you get the removal kit from? cost?

Also any chance you might have or know someone with 4g62 spare engine?

I've went to Hamilton Vic,over the weekend and picked up Tim's blue Ac turbo cordia. 400 km

Needs work but a complete car,I am not sure to either sell it as is or wreck it.

There are a lot of good parts on it.

cheap cars euro, and people dont know how to repair

the kit I put together from mitsubishi, all genuine parts, you can see it on www.vfaq.com

nice pick up, Im sure you will wreck, is that the one with the headgasket issue, if it is its a easy cheap fix then paint it

That is true, if you have a good mechanic you are lucky.

That's the one, haven't tried starting it up. I was told it should run.

New fuel and a battery and I will give it a shot.

Yes according to Tim there is a slight head gasket leak, oil is still clean in it.

Body is rough but it is a complete car.

Any idea where to get 4g62 engine rebuild kit? They used to be on ebay , cannot see them anymore.

its probably not too bad, I just go to repco or bursons and order a vrs kit

I like the blue color too

Post subject:  Re: SIVART's new toy

I am sure you do, I remembered your AC when I picked it up. That type of blue is actually really nice.

That car of yours mint inside and outside.

I will check with them hopefully they will complete sets, with pistons etc.

Both have pros and cons.

With evo motor, it might be just a bit too much power for cordia plus parts are more expensive.

With 4g62, if I was to put a multipoint and simple reliable aftermarket computer.

It should get rid of the most gremlins that those engines have and it will look stock.160 kw at the engine is plenty.

What would you do?
