Just got back from the Melbourne cruse, thanks everyone for showing up, we had a fantastic turnout - 10 Cordia's total. I must say it was a pretty half-arsed effort on my part planning it, so it was a suprise to see a big turn-out.

It was a fun cruse & there were some good twisties, no mechanical problems or 'near misses' that i'm aware of. We had some pretty bad weather - rain, hail and sunshine! and most of the roads were wet but it didn't stop us. All cars got back in one piece. Though we did loose the blue cordia with the camera on the side, what happened there? we waited at the 1st meet spot, but no show.

Anyway, here are some photo's i took, the quality isn't too great because my camera is a pos.

Sorry Tim...

honestly i didn't expect such a big turnout.. it was awesome to meet all of you guys.. there are some real nice cars there too.....

shame mine is so multicoloured (blue, off blue, dead blue, dark blue, light blue, and then a bit of white to break it up..)

Anyway i had the cam mounted to the side.. i would have loved to come along considering the turnout.. but i had to be in moorabin at 11, so i was pushing it as it was...

HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN!.. i'll bring the cam.. i'll see if i can get any video up.

Cheers fella's (2much)

tom gave me permission to take a photo from that angle....... it's an old battle scar..... (pssshht you can say it's drift damage...)

video would be great, sorry i didn't know you wern't coming. Not to worry! you missed out though. I don't mind the multi-colored, it looks tough. Perfect sleeper!!!

I think there is a video / photo viewing night in the making. Spike/Steve got some good video footage he tell me, and it will be good to have another social catchup/drink-a-thon

melbourne cruises are the shizzle! we should print some stickers... "victoria - the cordia state"

The cruise was good didnt mind bout the rain and wat not as it made it fun, good to catch up with everyone again and to meet some new ppl too. It was nice to actually have a cordia to drive today too.

I second the idea of the stickers, and im in the process of gettin the pics and vid on to the comp and then i'll try to get a dvd happenin with a blend of them on there, I'll have to see wat happens and let you know how it goes.

Tim can you email me the pics you got and i will try to get Robs too.

Jon,

Yeah thats a ding *notice in the other thread I didnt once snap the panel hehe*
that happened last year man But all the panel shops I know of in town are booked out till oct 12th...So I didnt have time to get it fixxed

But yeah what a day!.... I finally made it home about 5 mins ago. In total 960kms over the weekend haha :o

Tim, Kudos on the organization of the cruise.
Loved the Cars...Loved the People,,, It was good to finally put some face's on some names!
The roads were great, Was a bit sad with all the rain and hail. Will have to organize a Vid night soon
A few moments that stood out were wheelspin wars with malovan down Canturbry Road, Shattered the vid cam ran outta battery's and the expression on random strangers face's When 10Cordia's Drive past :)

But yeh I'll give some proper feedback soon, Im off to bed!

P.s we love you rainman

Yeah awesome day. Me and Jess had a great time.
By far the funnest part of Cordia cruises are peoples faces when they see a bunch of cordias in a row. Passing that GSL cordia on the country road, and waving to them, as well as another 6 cordias in front of me was priceless!

Nick - Malovan... your limiter sounds nuts. Love it. And dont ever even try to polish that exhaust stain off... love that too... looks mad.

Tim great to see the bumble bee on the road and cruising. " POINT 4 KILOWATTTTZ"

Nick - 2much... you've been busy as man!! Have to catch up soon and have a proper chat!

Adrian - good to catchup man! The R33 is nice, but you miss the cordia dontcha??!!!

too all you unbelieverers... i have proof that i can run 13 second quarter miles, i eat evo's and skylines for breakfast with my .4 kilowatts thanks to my unique intercooler setup! fear the bumblebee!!!

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/me ... /dyno1.jpg

haha, thanks for all the feed back! It's funny, there were 4 people on the cruise who just got their cordia's on the road

-Tom (JETGSR)
-Myself (UFG-337)
-Danny (UAD-564)
-Steve/Spike (UBG-812)

you can tell 3 of us rocked up at vicroads within the same month.....

It's also interesting that all the cars on the cruise have AB/AC grilles. I'll post some more useless facts when they come to mind....
